I want to make more stamps, but needed a way to keep a consistent font across all of them without having to make up a new one each time. In the process I've made a new font template with symbols!
Free to use, give me credit if you can. This template is meant for older versions of Photoshop that do not include all those fancy layer options. Pay attention to where the text goes in the layers.
In order to change the color of the background, select the layer "Background color", go to Image>Adjust>Hue/Saturation. Move the Hue slider till you get the color you want. Remember which number it gives you, whether it is a positive or negative number. Click OK.
Select the layer "Diagonal Stripes", go to Image>Adjust>Hue/Saturation. Instead of moving the hue slider bar back and forth, just input the number you've memorized and click OK.
Of course, for the diagonal stripes, you can choose which ever color you like. But if you want your stamp to look not-too-crazy and you don't have a good sense of which color to choose, then follow the steps I've described above.
